The new expansion will release launch sometime in June or July of POE Currency this season, and may conclude the action RPG’s main story campaign. Featured above, you can enjoy the reveal trailer with the new expansion.
In relation to its how much story content articles are being added – the sport’s campaign it's essentially being doubled, adding acts 5 (that has entirely new areas), as well as acts 6-10 which may have players get back to areas from act 1-4 but new paths, stories, and bosses.
The game itself will probably be updated to version 3.0.0 when The Fall of Oriath launches, switching up various underlying systems for POE Exalted Orb character progression and playback. One with the more notable changes would be the removal of double dipping, where players would have the same damage multiplier apply twice to some single damage source.
