The South Korean company Nexon renders a "strategic investment" from the MapleStory 2 Mesos developer of social games 6waves Lolapps from Hong Kong, which appeared like a result in the recent merger of two large companies, reports Gamasutra. This isn't the first Nexon step towards social gaming - in March this season the company announced what has MMO MapleStory can look on Facebook under the name MapleStory Adventures.
“We are extremely pleased to play around the same team with 6waves Lolapps,” comments Nexon CEO Seung-woo Choi (Seung-woo Choi).
We purchased it because we assume that Lolapps is going to be able to give our games the maximum amount of MS 2 Mesos value even as we do, plus to be sure the growth in the company through this.”
