Fortnite has become giving out millions in prize money due to its various Summer Skirmish events, so we’ve now finished the grand finale that's taken place at PAX West in Seattle over the past four days. Among dancing cosplayers and cubicles skinned with Fortnite Materials wood walls, 100 players duked against eachother to become the past man standing and disassemble a $1.5 million prize pool with $225,000 planning to first place and $25,000 bonuses for each Victory Royale win.
Fortnite may be refining its scoring system all summer, and contains finally landed on one that provides points both for high placements and wins, but in addition for total kills within a game to try to encourage more action and fewer hiding. But there’s still an abundance of hiding.
The Grand Finals were memorable for reasons both negative and positive. For probably the most part, it felt like Epic had finally figured out the way to do events such as this “right” on the rule set for the production value to hiring both best Fortnite casters inside the Fortnite Items , Courage and DrLupo.
